Horst Engineering de Mexico was established in 2006. Our Guaymas, Sonora maquiladora offers similar products, services, and manufacturing processes as our East Hartford operation. HEDM’s processes include Swiss screw machining, turning, milling, roll threading, centerless grinding, and assembly. HEDM supplies the Mexican marketplace and exports to the United States and Europe.
Mexico and particularly, the State of Sonora, are known for their manufacturing excellence. The automotive and electronics industries have been established in Mexico for decades, but in recent years, there has been rapid development in high technology industries that require precision machining processes and products. Aerospace, medical, and energy related industries have seen rapid expansion. Sonora has a cluster of many entrepreneurial manufacturers that support these industries.
