Passivation
Horst Engineering de Mexico is Nadcap accredited for Chemical Processing/Surface Treatment. Our Passivation process is important for many aerospace, medical, and industrial customers’ stainless steel products. Passivation is a chemical process. After cleaning, parts are treated in an acid bath to remove any oxide layer present on the surface of the parts. Passivation maximizes the corrosion resistance of stainless alloys.
